Air Tahiti Nui chooses Amadeus to transform its technology infrastructure
Amadeus’ Altéa Suite and other IT solutions to help Air Tahiti Nui provide a more seamless, personalised experience to customers
Bangkok, Thailand, 14 June 2016: As a Tahitian face to the rest of the world, Air Tahiti Nui takes pride in demonstrating the hospitality, beauty and relaxed nature of its nation’s people in every detail of the airline. Today, Air Tahiti Nui and Amadeus announce a landmark agreement to take this commitment to the next level – by transforming the airline’s customer experience with a new suite of advanced technology solutions.
Through this partnership, Air Tahiti Nui will adopt the Amadeus Altéa Suite to enhance its reservations, inventory, check-in and departure control processes. The airline has also signed for Amadeus Segment Revenue Management, Amadeus Loyalty Management and Amadeus Payment Platform. Fully integrated, these next-generation technology solutions will drive a new standard of efficiency, profitability and customer experience for Air Tahiti Nui.

Air Tahiti Nui joins more than 120 airlines globally contracted to use the full Altéa Suite, including most of the major airlines in Asia Pacific. Beyond the Altéa Suite, Air Tahiti Nui will adopt the following solutions to improve profitability and deliver greater personalisation and convenience to travellers:
Altéa Segment Revenue Management will help Air Tahiti Nui maximise revenue through innovative demand forecasting techniques combined with real time data exchange.
Amadeus Loyalty Management will enable Air Tahiti Nui make personalised offers and promotions that meet the needs and expectations of their customers, turning the loyalty programme into a profit centre for the airline.
Amadeus Payment Platform connects directly to acquiring banks, payment service providers, fraud management and other payment-related solutions, helping airlines to protect revenues, increase sales and reduce payment costs.

About Air Tahiti Nui
Air Tahiti Nui was established on 31 October 1996 and commenced flight operations on 20 November 1998. As the first international airline based in Papeete, Tahiti, Air Tahiti Nui was formed to develop inbound tourism and operate international services for the low- and high-end leisure travel markets.
The government of French Polynesia is the major shareholder (84.4%) along with other local investors. Currently, Air Tahiti Nui has 782 employees.
In May 2015, Air Tahiti Nui announced its intention to replace its entire fleet, currently consisting of five Airbus A340-300s. They will be replaced by four Boeing 787-9s, which are due to be delivered in 2018 and 2019.
As of July 2015, the airline serves the following destinations: Auckland, Los Angeles, Papeete, Paris and Tokyo.
